If you delete your account or revoke your consent to your data being used, your personal data is deleted provided no statutory or contractual retention periods apply that preclude deletion. Your content will be retained for technical reasons, although your username will be removed.
Alternatively, we allow you to sign up and log in using your Facebook account. If you sign up using Facebook, Facebook will ask you permission to share certain information from your Facebook account with TravelCritix. This may include your first name, last name and e-mail address in order for us to verify your identity.
If you sign up to TravelCritix using Facebook, your TravelCritix account will be connected automatically to your Facebook account. Information regarding your activity on TravelCritix may then be shared on your Facebook timeline and your Facebook friends’ newsfeeds.
We require your e-mail address if you wish to subscribe to our newsletter. By default, when you register on our site you automactically opt-in to our newsletter. We will only use your e-mail address for community updates related to your activity or TravelCritix updates. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time without affecting your rights to use our webiste. To do so use the link provided in the newsletter or unsubscribe from Subscriptions within your personal account options.
